Pellets maintenance

The residues contained in pellets can lead to a significant accumulation of soot and tar in the fireplace and flue pipes. To remedy this, Fulgurant has developed a maintenance product specifically designed to eliminate soot, tar, and wood dust while preserving your appliance. By avoiding obstructions in the flue pipes and the formation of deposits in the fireplace, this maintenance ensures optimal smoke draught.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before proceeding with the maintenance, make sure the appliance is at the right temperature. When the appliance’s reservoir is three-quarters empty, pour the entire contents of the pellet cleaning sachet. Then, complete the filling with your usual pellets. Allow the stove to run for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours, consuming the contents of the sachet.
When Fulgurant pellets burn, they release smoke and catalytic substances that attack and break down soot, tar, and wood dust residues.
After treatment, you will notice in the ash drawer a fine gray powder, which is the soot and tar residues that have fallen.

Regular use of Fulgurant chimney cleaning pellets (every 4 weeks) helps preserve your appliance and increase its efficiency.
