Sweeping Granules

Sweeping granules of natural origin* are used as a curative and preventive treatment for fireplaces, inserts, stoves using wood, coal or pellets. Its formula works to loosen soot and wood dust in combustion appliances and to dry flammable tar in chimney flues and liners (even stainless steel). It is the vapors and the catalytic action of the product that cause the reaction necessary for the destruction of tar and soot. Its regular use improves combustion and reduces harmful emissions into the atmosphere (CO). Mechanical sweeping remains compulsory, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
*We use materials that are identical in structure and function to substances that can be extracted and purified from natural deposits.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Fireplace / insert / wood or coal stove :

Light the fireplace or heater and maintain a high heat for 2 to 3 hours
Reduce the draft, spread the embers and pour the pellets directly onto the embers using the pod, according to the following dosage: 6 pods the first time, then 3 pods every 10 fires
The fumes released act on the deposits for ± 30 minutes
After the product burns, restore the draft to normal mode
In case of heavy clogging, double the dose.

Pellet stoves :

Before using the preparation and to obtain a good cleaning, operate the appliance beforehand so that the combustion chamber is at temperature (± 30 minutes) and then ensure that the pellet compartment is practically empty.
Take a clean bucket and pour ± 1.5 kg of wood pellets (which you use to feed your stove) add the contents of 2 pods and mix everything properly
Pour the preparation directly into the pellet compartment of the appliance and let it operate for a minimum of 1h30, then feed again with wood pellets
Use once a month in season.
